WL ACADEMY FEATURED PARTNER
InC
IN Compliance Magazine's mission is to supply the latest news and information to electrical engineering professionals keeping them informed and educated on requirements to design, produce, and market their products around the world.

more... arrow

Our roots run deep in the community of electrical engineering professionals whose primary concern is the regulatory compliance of their companys' products. Our team was the driving force behind our predecessor, Conformity® magazine. When the decision was made to shutter Conformity in March of 2009, our team got together and commited to continue supporting our community.

August 2009 brought the launch of our new publication, IN Compliance Magazine. Our Premiere Issue was released at the IEEE EMC Symposium in Austin, Texas where we were welcomed back by friends and supporters anxious for the informational needs of the compliance community to once again be filled.

Starting with the January 2010 issue, we resume our mission by publishing monthly issues of IN Compliance Magazine, providing the latest industry news on our website www.incompliancemag.com and through semi-monthly eNewsletters.

We are proud to continue supporting our community as their preferred source of regulatory compliance information.

Course Description

Development in our fast-paced world is difficult enough without having to stare down EMI demons. Exorcise those demons before they get into your design. Prudent printed circuit board layout pays dividends at test-time. Good layout, proper component selection and good planning will reduce surprises at test-time.

EMC design is ever more critical as designs must comply with domestic and international standards. FCC, CISPR, IEC, CE Marking, CCC all require conformance to EMC specifications. In the world of global competitiveness, missing the mark may mean missing the market.

Find out how to do more from the experts at Wurth Electronics and Washington Labs. Join us for this informative and interactive design session, followed by laboratory demonstrations of practical test and measurement methods.

Objectives

Learn techniques to reduce trace radiation, crosstalk, power supply emissions, proper decoupling and filtering. Test and compliance requirements for international markets.
